The program is open to current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Journalism, Business, Communications, or related fields.

As part of a national internship program organized by NJ Advance Media’s national affiliate, Advance Local interns will be immersed in the Woodbridge-based organization for eight weeks and then come together for a national summit in the New York City area with fellow interns from across the country.
The program begins June 5, 2017.
The highly selective Advance Local program will place interns in several markets, including Alabama, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Orleans, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Syracuse, N.Y.
The deadline for applicants will be Jan. 31, 2017.
